Academia Sinica

The program is open to Ukrainian undergraduates, master’s and doctoral students, and academics with doctorates in the fields of the humanities and social sciences, mathematics, physical sciences, and life sciences.

 

The program covers round-trip airfare and accommodation, and provide a subsidy of NT$15,000 per month for undergraduate students, NT$20,000 per month for master’s and doctoral students, and NT$66,950 per month for academics

 

*Advanced knowledge of English is expected. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a short online interview.

 

*The Taipei Representative Office in Poland will assist in providing the visas.

National Taipei University

National Taipei University Alumni Association Scholarships for Ukrainian Students While most of NTPU’s undergraduate programs require proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, English-language master’s programs are offered by the International College of Sustainability Innovations (ICSI).

 

These include the Master’s Program of Business Administration in Finance, International Program on Urban Governance, and Master’s of Smart Healthcare Management.

Tzu Chi University of Science and Technology

Located in the beautiful east cost city of Hualien, the university  is famous in Taiwan for the quality of the medical education it provides. TCU has strong ties with Hualien Tzu Chi General Hospital (on the same premises as the university) as well as five teaching hospitals in other parts of Taiwan.

National Taiwan Sport University (NTSU)

The National Taiwan Sport University is a public university specialized in sports in Taoyuan, Taiwan.

 

The NTSU Visiting Student Program for Ukraine Students is a non-degree program offers financial support to students affected by the conflict in Ukraine to study at National Taiwan Sport University (NTSU) for 3 months in the 2022 academic year.  The students will be able to attend classes in Athletics, Physical Education, Exercise and Health Sciences, and Management at NTSU. 

Financial support covers such expenses as tuition and fees, on-campus room and board, books and supplies and a flight ticket (round trip).

TEEP for Ukraine

The Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP), launched by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education (MOE) in 2015, attracts outstanding students from around the world to apply for short-term professional internships in Taiwan organized by Taiwanese universities and colleges.

 

TEEP programs are available in emerging fields such as Information Communication Technology (ICT), Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain Technology, Semiconductors, 5G Wireless Communications, Advanced Manufacturing, Smart Manufacturing, Robotics, Green Energy, Biosensors, Logistics Management, Molecular Biology and Smart Health Care. Mandarin Language Training or Cultural Experience Courses are also available. 

 

Successful candidates, “Ukrainian TEEPers”, receive an international round-trip fare, living expenses (NT$15,000/month for undergraduate students; NT$20,000/month for master and Ph.D. students), and university accommodation. The duration of the programs is 3 months, with the possibility of extension.

Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) Scholar Program 

To show concern for the crisis in Ukraine, MOST is providing academic grants for visiting Ukrainian scholars recruited by universities or research institutions in Taiwan.

 

Eligibility: 

Ph.D. research scholars with Ukrainian citizenship resided in Ukraine before the crisis. 

 

Field of expertise: unrestricted

 

The academic grants will cover: 1) NT$66,950 per month (at least) for the recruited personnel's living expenses, 2) a round trip airline ticket for the recruited personnel, their spouses, and two of his/her direct relatives will be subsidized (no more than 4 people including the recruited personnel).

 

Duration: 3 months (with the possibility of extension)

The Tunghai University Scholarship

The Tunghai University Scholarship aims to support Ukrainian nationals to pursue an undergraduate bachelor's degree in the International College.

Full-English programs in International Business Administration, Sustainability, Science and management , Interdisciplinary, Chinese Language. 

 

Scholarship: full tuition waiver, monthly stipend, on-campus living, free Chinese lessons.
